The fourth session of the Talks on Migration series will take place on November 18, 2020 via Zoom.
Hans van Loon, former Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, will be the keynote speaker of this session.
He will be delivering a speech titled “Towards a Global Cooperation Framework for Temporary and Circular Migration”.

On 13th of November, the conference on European Integration and Migration was held via Zoom; and the participation to the conference was satisfactorily high.
Prof. Dr. Sanem Baykal, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülüm Özçelik and Akif Atlı, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, made speeches on Turkey-EU relations as regards the migration issues, development of migration law in the EU and efforts for refugee protection in Turkey respectively.
At the end of the conference, a very thought-provoking Q&A session has been carried out.

Following that, Prof. Dr. Sanem Baykal talked about the Turkey-EU relations as regards the migration issues.
Lastly, Dr. Çiçek Özgür compared the content of temporary protection in Turkey and in the EU.
