Annual Conference 2021
The third Annual Conference on European Integration and Migration was held online at Anadolu University (Eskişehir) on October 20, 2021.
Prof. Dr. Sanem Baykal delivered a speech titled “The Notion of Migration and its Implications in the Context of Turkey-EU Relations.
Followingly, Akif Atlı from UNHCR talked about “Asylum and Integration”.
At the end of the conference, a very thought-provoking Q&A session was carried out.

Annual Conference 2021
The second Annual Conference on European Integration and Migration was held online at Anadolu University (Eskişehir) on 20th May 2021.
The conference has started with the opening speeches of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Aygün and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülüm Özçelik.
Following the opening speeches, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülüm Özçelik delivered a presentation titled “European Union and Migration from a Legal Point of View“.
Then Cansu Kaya talked about the “Permanent Solutions in the EU Regulations”.
Regarding the Dublin system, Elçin Aktan made a speech titled “Dublin System and the Proposal of New Pact on Migration and Asylum“
Lastly, Prof. Dr. Sanem Baykal discussed Turkey-EU relations as regards the migration issues.
At the end of the conference, a very thought-provoking Q&A session has been carried out.
